Jarvie J. Watterson

Jarvie J. Watterson, 64, of Karns City passed away Feb. 25 in VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born May 12, 1948, in Indiana, Pa., and was the son of the late Frank D. and Helen (Myers) Watterson.

Jarvie was a U.S. Army veteran, who served during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed being a delivery truck driver and working as a salesman.

Jarvie is survived by his wife, Rosemary McElroy Watterson, who he married March 12, 1996; three children, Matthew J. (Cynthia) Watterson Sr., Lucas (Amy) Watterson and Heidi Watterson; stepson Jess McElroy; six grandchildren; and his sister, Amy (Duane) Lingenfelter.

WATTERSON — Friends of Jarvie J. Watterson, who passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, will be received from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the North Washington Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Mathias officiating and music by Jim Schaefer.Services have been provided by the Edward L.
