William 'Billy' Pete Keffalas

William Keffalas

William “Billy” Pete Keffalas, 61, of Butler passed away Sunday at the Chicora Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 24, 1951, in Butler, and was the son of the late Pete John Keffalas and Elizabeth (Vasilion) Keffalas of Butler.

Billy was a member of the St. Andrew's Orthodox Church. He loved NASCAR, and he earned many trophies playing miniature golf.

Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Vasilion Keffalas of Butler; two brothers, John P. Keffalas and his wife, Mary D., and Alexander P. Keffalas and his wife, Shelly, all of Butler; two nephews, Andrew and Matthew Keffalas; and three nieces, Lexi, Elizabeth and Maya Keffalas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pete John Keffalas, who died June 18, 2008.

KEFFALAS — Friends of William “Billy” Pete Keffalas, who passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at the St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church, 201 Penn Ave., Lyndora, at noon Saturday with Father Joseph Wargo officiating.
