Diana H. Usell, 94, of Butler died Thursday at St. John’s Specialty Care, Mars.

Born June 20, 1918, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Fumic) Tutek. She had lived in Florida from 1981 until returning to Butler in 1999.

Diana was a homemaker and mother, and was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and the St. Francis group of St. Paul Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and had volunteered at St. Paul’s School and St. Mary’s School in their libraries.

Surviving are her two sons, Raymond J. (Elaine) Usell Jr., of Poway, Calif., and Robert G. (Lorie) Usell of Temecula, Calif.; two daughters, Diane (David) Sobolewski of Indiana, Pa., and Janet (Jeffrey) Wigton of Butler; 10 grandchildren, Grant Usell, Lori (Dave) Copeland, Kent (Maleea) Usell, Michael (Maria) Sobolewski, Michele Sobolewski, Nick Sobolewski, Jennifer Wigton, Ann (Travis) Reges, Tom Wigton and James Usell; and seven great-grandchildren, Westley, Connor and Duncan Copeland, Ryan and Derek Usell, and Meredith and Lauren Sobolewski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Usell, who she married Nov. 23, 1938, and who died Jan. 4, 2013; five brothers and two sisters.

USELL — Friends of Diana H. Usell, who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Millvale.

St. Paul’s Catholic women and Christian mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the rosary.
