EDGEWOOD, Pa. — Police in Western Pennsylvania say they are searching for a suspect in a shooting at a Pittsburgh-area shopping plaza that wounded three people.

Homicide detectives on Monday obtained an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old North Braddock resident in Saturday's gunfire at Edgewood Towne Centre.

Allegheny County police said he was identified through surveillance video. The other shooter hasn't yet been identified.

Local police said two men apparently recognized each other at the shopping plaza Saturday afternoon and opened fire, sending shoppers fleeing.

PITTSBURGH — The University of Pittsburgh and Sichuan University in China are partnering on a joint engineering program.The schools say in a Monday release the Sichuan University Pittsburgh Institute expects to enroll its first students in the fall of 2014.Sichuan University plans to invest nearly $40 million on a new 100,000-square-foot building for the institute.The institute will initially offer undergraduate degree programs in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering and materials science.
