Raymond LeRoy 'Ray' Lontz

Raymond LeRoy “Ray” Lontz, 72, of Butler passed away at 11 a.m. Monday at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1940, in Harrisburg to the late Paul W. Lontz and Ellen E. Shoaff Lontz.

Mr. Lontz was a 1958 graduate of Butler High School, and he went on to study at Indiana State College, now known as IUP, in Indiana, Pa.

He worked as a pharmacy technician at the See Right Pharmacy in Harrisburg until his retirement in 2010.

Mr. Lontz is survived by one sister, Sue Cumberland of Butler; two half-brothers, Dale Lontz and his wife, Cheryl, of New Cumberland, Pa., and Jeffrey Lontz and his wife, Michelle, of Mercer; one niece, Diana Imler and her husband, Keith, of Butler; two nephews, Brian Cumberland and his wife, Evelyn, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Michael Cumberland and his wife, Margie, of Butler; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one half-brother, Kenneth Lontz and one brother-in-law, Lonny Cumberland.

LONTZ — There will be no public visitation or service for Raymond LeRoy “Ray” Lontz, who passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
