Benjamin Pascazi

Benjamin P. Pascazi, 78, of Butler passed away Sunday evening at his home.

He was born in Butler on Feb. 23, 1935, and was the son of the late Benjamin J. and Amelia Chos Pascazi.

He was retired from Applied Test Systems, where he was employed for 12 years as a metal fabricator. He also was formerly employed for 19 years as a welding foreman at Pullman Standard.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed camping and boating. He loved going to his grandchildren's sporting events. His number one priority was his family, and he enjoyed being with them.

Mr. Pascazi was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by one son, Gino P. Pascazi and his wife, Sheri L., of Butler; two daughters, Kimberly A. Neudorfer and her husband, John, of Butler, and Tina M. O'Donnell and her husband, Rodney L., of Butler; one sister, Dorothy Benton and her husband, Bernard, of Bradenton, Fla.; one brother, Robert Pascazi and his wife, Patricia, of Melbourne, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Benjamin and Zachary Neudorfer, Gino and Maria Pascazi and Justin and Mackenzie O'Donnell, all of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Green Pascazi, who passed away Nov. 29, 2002.

PASCAZI — Friends of Benjamin P. Pascazi, who passed away Sunday Feb. 24, 2013, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Matt McClain, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place in St. Wendelin's Cemetery.Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Post 249 and the Lyndora American Legion Post 778.For more information, go to www.martinfh.net.
