The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will conduct the American Red Cross baby sitter's training classes throughout the year.
The April classes are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6 at the Butler Township Park Building, 468 S. Duffy Road, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 20 at the Karns City Municipal Building, 116 Main St.
The class is for ages 11 to 15. Emphasis will be on prevention, safety, responsibility, leadership and professionalism.
Future classes will be in Adams Township, Alameda Park, Butler Township Park, Karns City and Slippery Rock Park.
Registration is required due to class size limits. The cost includes all books and materials for the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an American Red Cross baby sitter's training course certification.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum will sponsor a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6 in the museum's Stewart Hall at 218 Mercer St.Vendors may set up on the afternoon of April 5.Information and table reservations are available at the museum office or by calling 724-452-7341.
LYNDORA — The Tanglewood Center in Lyndora will host a scrapbooking class from 1 to 3 p.m. April 5. The class continues on the first Friday of every month in the Harringer Room.Some supplies will be available.
