Enrico James “Rick” Parenti, 64, of Forestville passed away at 1:01 p.m. Sunday at Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

He was born June 13, 1948, in Grove City. He was the son of the late Dominic Parenti and the late Deloras Rose Marterella Parenti Rose.

Rick was a heavy equipment operator for several strip mining companies over the years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was Catholic.

Rick is survived by his wife, Lynn Scalise Parenti; seven children, Enrico Mark (Andrea) Parenti of Hilliards, Monica (Thomas) Craig of Harrisville, Julia Parenti of Slippery Rock, and Gina Parenti, Dominic Parenti, Enrico Parenti and Anthony Parenti, all of Forestville; and five grandchildren, Grant Craig, Ian Craig, James Parenti, Lance Craig and Katelin Parenti; two sisters, Judy (Frank) Paga of Valencia and Anna (James) Plesakov of Hilliards; numerous nieces and nephews; and several aunts.

PARENTI — Friends of Enrico James “Rick” Parenti, who passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Forestville with Father Kevin Poecking officiating. Burial will be in the Epiphany Cemetery.
