Penn State Extension will offer “Dining with Diabetes,” a program for adults with diabetes and their families, from 3 to 5 p.m. April 3, 10 and 24. Participants will meet at the Penn State Extension office, 101 Motor Pool Way.

Each class will have food demonstrations and tastings, physical activity, ideas to take home and discussions about important information to help manage diabetes. Lab tests will be offered to measure blood sugar.

Participants will receive a variety of resources including a complete collection of course recipes.

Registered dietitians and certified diabetes educators will lead the sessions.

CHERRY TWP — Residents are invited to two classes at Moniteau Junior and Senior High Schools this spring.“Internet Safety,” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 4, will help parents guide their children to use the Internet and social media responsibly and safely.
