Charles D. Guetthoff
Charles D. Guetthoff, 56, of Butler, formerly of Oneida Valley Road, died Thursday evening at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Feb. 19, 1956, in Butler, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Stella R. (Selker) Guetthoff.
He was a graduate of Butler High School, had an associates degree in accounting from the Butler County Community College, and was currently working as a correspondent service representative for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.
Charles was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, and had enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the outdoors.
Surviving are his brother, Bill (Sande) Guetthoff of Butler; one nephew, Brian (Lisa) Guetthoff of Prospect; one niece, Kimberly (Eric) Hilliard of Prospect; three aunts, Mrs. Betty Steffenino, Mrs. Anne Selker and Mrs. Rose Selker; two great-nephews; one great-niece; several cousins, including Jim Selker; and also his co-workers, who he maintained a familylike bond with.
GUETTHOFF — Friends of Charles D. Guetthoff, who died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.St. Paul's Catholic women and Christian mothers will meet at 10:10 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.His family requests that memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
