Don D. Taylor
Don D. Taylor, 68, of Evans City passed away Sunday while in the comfort of his daughter’s home.
Born Dec. 20, 1944, in Mill Creek, W.Va., he was the son of the late Romey and Edna (Smith) Taylor.
Don was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan, but above all, he was a true fighter whose good-hearted nature will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
He is survived by his three children, Tracy Taylor Anderson and her husband, Mike, of Harmony, Don Taylor of Harmony and Thomas Taylor and his wife, Dawn, of Zelienople; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his seven siblings, Annie Gum and her husband, Lyndel, of Ohio, Kathy Walton and her husband, Russ, of Texas, Romey Taylor of Georgia, Violet Roccia of South Carolina, Janet Elder of Butler, Larry Taylor of Zelienople and Wilma Weiss and her husband, Mike, of Warrendale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Hauserman.
TAYLOR — The family of Don D. Taylor, who passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, will welcome friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where a funeral ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m. with the Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley officiating.
