3:17 p.m. Wednesday — A 7-year-old Center Township boy was hurt in a three-car crash at Jefferson and Chestnut streets. The wreck happened when a car driven by Elizabeth M. Chiesa, 26, struck a car driven by Jennifer L. Soose, 32, both of Center Township.

The collision forced Soose's vehicle into a car driven by Joy B. Griffin, 56, of New Brighton, Beaver County. The boy, who was riding in Soose's car and wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
