Don Walter Hall

Don Walter Hall, 59, of 816 Leesburg Station Road, Volant, died at the Grove City Medical Center Emergency Room at 12:52 a.m. Monday.

Born in Ellwood City on June 7, 1953, Don was the son of the late Clyde Albert and Dorothy Beatrice Marshall Hall.

He was self-employed, and he was a 1971 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

Surviving are his companion, Mary Ann Detweiler and her five children, Nancy, Elizabeth, Viola, David and Sarah Detweiler; Don's three children and a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan D. and Jodi Hall of Evans City, Angela L. Hall and Jeff Platt of Zelienople and Jared L. Hall of Ellwood City; a grandson, Graham Platt; three sisters and two sisters-in-law, Alice and Sam Short of Harmony, Rita and Steve Hahn of Harmony, Mary and Robert White of Fredonia, Donna Hall of Harmony and Bonnie Hall of Renfrew.

Don was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy G. and Clyde A. Hall Jr.

HALL — Don Walter Hall died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013. In accordance with Don's wishes, there will be no services.Memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Hall's name to Lancaster Township Boy Scout Troop 360, C/O Moraine Trails Council, 830 Morton Ave. Ext., Butler, PA 16001.Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A.
