Mary L. Gold
Mary L. Gold, 58, of West Sunbury, formerly of Hilliards, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Mary was born March 14, 1954, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late Paul Hindman and the late Emogene Kifer Hindman.
She was a member of the Ridgeville Methodist Church. She loved doing crafts and spending time with her granddaughter.
Mary had been employed at the Easter Seal Society of Western Pennsylvania and at the Transtec Corp.
Mary is survived by two sons, James Gold and his wife, Angel, and their daughter, Jackalyn, of West Sunbury, and Matthew Gold, also of West Sunbury. Also surviving are five sisters, Janet Hiatt of Texas, Susan (Raymond) Dunkle of Kennerdell, Sandra (Javier) Elias of Texas, Barbara (John) Painter of Palmyra, Pa., and Karen (Mark) Crisman of Parker; and two brothers, Donald (Nancy) Hindman of Emlenton and James Hindman of Clintonville.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gold, who died June 4, 2003; and two brothers.
GOLD — Friends of Mary L. Gold, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wade Berkey, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be private in the Rosewood Cemetery.
