Dorothy M. Edinger, 90, of Mars died Wednesday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

She was born in Adams Township on Sept. 16, 1922, the daughter of the late William L. and Gertrude Barclay Ehrhart.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Roland and her husband, David, of Mars and Cheryl Ann Whitfield and her husband, Scott, of Valencia; two sons, William James Edinger of Mars and Gary Charles Edinger and his wife, Shelly, of Boyers; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Smith and her husband, Fred, of Mars; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Edinger, Jr., who she married on Oct. 29, 1943, and who died on Sept. 1, 2003; a son, Thomas Edinger; and her siblings, William John Ehrhart, Marlene Lackey, Esther Gillis, Rose Lawther, Amelia Stewart and Ida Mae Feathers.
