HARRISBURG — The Beaver, Butler and Venango Counties Municipal Code Association, a code and sewage enforcement agency formed by 23 municipalities, has received a $3,000 state grant.

The association will use the money to help pay for computer and permitting software upgrades.

The funds are from the Department of Community and Economic Development.

In total, the state agency approved $158,800 for eight projects in the state.
