Dearest Nick,

Another year, 365 days without you here on earth with us.

As we look at your pictures and videos, we relive all the wonderful memories and the joy you brought to our lives. We are able to “smile thru our tears” and think “only if”.

“Only if”...

We could hold those precious hands again,

Look into those big, beautiful, sparkling brown eyes,

See that beautiful smile,

Hear that soft, sweet voice,

Feel those loving arms around us again

And see the handsome guy you would be at age 22.

We would do anything, my sweetheart, for any one of these “only if’s”. Behind the smiles and seemingly normalcy of our lives, there is a sadness that never goes away and won’t until we hold you in our arms again.

You - my darling, today, tomorrow and always, are on our minds, in our hearts and a part of our lives.
