The Old Stone House at the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528 in Brady Township will be the site of a “Cherry Pie Hike,” celebrating the birthday of George Washington, at 1 p.m. Saturday. The event will include remarks by Brady Crytzer, local historian, author and Slippery Rock University graduate. The free program combines history, a winter hike on the North Country Trail and cherry pie. Coffee will also be provided. Reservations are required at 724-256-0674.
