Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will take registration for “Take Back the Woods: Battling Invasive Species” from March 1 through April 12. Individuals willing to spend an early spring day pitching in at the park to help manage invasive plants are needed. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 20. Participants must be age 12 or older and must register. Lunch will be provided, and each participant will receive a native plant to take home for their own garden or backyard.
