Mildred Smith

Mildred Smith, 85, of Butler passed away at 1:26 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Mildred was born May 12, 1927, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Michael Gregorius and the late Margaret Nath Gregorius.

She had been employed at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and at Tanglewood.

Mildred is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dan (Linda) Senovich of Pleasantville, Mrs. Lyn (Holly Jean) Lynch of Oregon and Juanita Jane Thompson of Florida; one son, Audie D. Smith of Petrolia; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Three sisters and three brothers also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Smith, who died Dec. 12, 1968; two sisters; and seven brothers.

SMITH — Friends of Mildred Smith, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A blessing service will be at noon Wednesday with Father Matt McClain of the St. Wendelin Parish officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
