Paul L. Kemery
Paul L. Kemery, 85, of Connoquenessing passed away Thursday evening at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
Born in Brady Township May 31, 1927, he was the son of the late Merle and Viola Smith Kemery.
Paul was a Protestant and had attended the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, Renfrew.
He worked as a trackman for the B&O Railroad, now Chessy System, retiring after 44 years. He also had worked for 20 years at the Evans City Cemetery.
He was a member of the Evans City Historical Society.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one son-in-law, Bruce.
He is survived by his wife, Ann M. Spurk Kemery, who he celebrated 67 years of marriage with on Oct. 17, 2012; two daughters, Linda (David) Carr of Renfrew and Cindy Cypher of Butler; two sons, Robert (Hallie) Kemery of Tennessee and Douglas (Colette) Kemery of Texas; one sister, Ellen (Dean) Vestal of Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Angie, Jeff, Donna, Timothy, Michael, Brian, Amanda, Nicholas, Kiana and Carson; 16 great-grandchildren, Clayton, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Megan, Reagan, Hailey, Tyler, Ethan, Beau, Izabel, Brody, Carson, Robert, Jenna, Justin and Jonathan; one great-great-granddaughter, Emma; and many nieces and nephews, of which two, Susan and Lily, shared his birthday.
KEMERY — Relatives and friends of Paul L. Kemery, who died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
