Nancy Lee Craig
Nancy Lee Craig, 71, of Strattanville passed away Friday at Clarion Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born April 29, 1941, in Harrisville, she was the daughter of John H. and Orpha (Lumley) Wilson Eaton.
Nancy was a devoted wife to her husband of 39 years, Herbert H. Craig, who preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2012.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Mark (Jan) Frampton of Shreve, Ohio, and Denis (Carla) Craig of Aliquippa; daughters, Melissa (William) Furl of Karns City, Christine (Michael) Stimac of East Brady and Mari Long and her companion, Jason Beabout, of Clarion; her former daughter-in-law, Carol Craig of Bela; her sister, Marjorie (Russell) Hines of Cochranton; her stepsister, Lois (Donald) Miller of Harrisville; her stepbrothers, James (Maureen) Eaton of Erie and John (Wendy) Eaton of Hamilton, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Craig; her parents, John H. Wilson and Orpha Wilson Eaton; her stepfather, James “Wally” Eaton; and her brother, K. James “Jim” Wilson Sr.
The family of Nancy Lee Craig would like to thank the caregivers at both Golden Living in Clarion and the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo for the care they have given Nancy the past six years. A special thank you goes to Nancy Deloe, whose cards, letters and faithful friendship brought Nancy much joy over the years.
Nancy was always hopeful for a cure for multiple sclerosis, and had tremendous faith that one day she would get to go home. You made it home, Mom.
CRAIG — Family and friends of Nancy Lee Craig, who passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. today in the funeral home with the Rev. Russell Hines and the Rev. Jim Eaton co-officiating.
