Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, hosts the Great Backyard Bird Count on Saturday and “Planning and Planting a Garden of Your Own” on Sunday; prior registration is needed for both. Call 724-794-6011 or visit www.dcnr.state.pa.us/Calendar. Jennings is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
