Jean M. Gianneschi
Jean M. Gianneschi, 88, of South Plainfield, N.J., formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday in New Jersey.
Born in Tarentum on May 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ethel Elcock Stark.
A homemaker, she was formerly employed at the Allegheny Ludlum Steel Co. in the employment office.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the senior citizens bowling and golf leagues. She also enjoyed reading and cooking.
She is survived by two sons, Frank A. Gianneschi Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of South Plainfield, N.J., and Dennis P. Gianneschi of Los Angeles; one brother, James Stark of California; two sisters, Joann Shea and her husband, Everett, of South Carolina and Janet Jones and her husband, William, of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Gianneschi Sr., who passed away May 24, 2007.
GIANNESCHI — Friends of Jean M. Gianneschi, who died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic. Church. Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
The bereavement group of St. Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Monday to conduct a scriptural wake service.
