Dorothy Sauselein

Dorothy (Reidenbach) Sauselein, 88, of Cranberry Township passed away Jan. 6.

She was the daughter of the late Heister and Laura (Green) Reidenbach.

She was the wife of the late Harry W. Sauselein Jr.

She was the beloved mother of Harry W. Sauselein III (Nancy) and Laurie Sauselein Rogg (Ken); the best grandmother to two granddaughters, Katie and Rebecca; the beloved sister of Charles Reidenbach, Elizabeth Iman and the late George, Robert and Laura Reidenbach, and Mae Saracco; and also many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Criders Corners (Cranberry Township area). She attended Sample School, a one-room schoolhouse, and graduated from Evans City High School, Class of 1942.

Dorothy married Harry W. Sauselein Jr. on Sept. 16, 1950.

She retired from J&L Steel/LTV Steel in 1984, where she was the secretary to the president until her retirement.

Beautiful inside and out, with a great wit and sense of humor, she will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

SAUSELEIN — Visitation with the family and a memorial service for Dorothy (Reidenbach) Sauselein, who died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the New Community Church, Wexford.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thoma Funeral Home, Wexford.

The family suggests memorials to Catholic Hospice, 6200 Brooktree Road, Suite 220, Wexford, PA 15090.
