Blanche Pushker

Blanche Pushker, 88, of Saxonburg, formerly of New Jersey, went to be with her Lord at 6:40 p.m. Monday at Elmcroft Senior Living in Saxonburg.

She was born Oct. 21, 1924, in Natrona Heights, the daughter of the late Joseph Lyszczek and Josephine (Ciebiera) Lyszczek.

Blanche had worked part time at the A&P Grocery Store in Union, N.J., and enjoyed painting pictures.

Surviving are her daughter, Elaine Pushker of Butler; three sisters, Mary Albanese of New Kensington, Mildred Germanich of California and Cecelia Jablonowski of Natrona Heights; her caregiver family, niece, Cynthia (John) Martinez of Butler and great-nieces, Alyssa Martinez and Gina Finke; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pushker Jr., who died May 21, 1996; two sisters; and four brothers.

PUSHKER — A memorial service for Blanche Pushker, who passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, will be at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, at 11 a.m. Friday.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Blind Association, P.O.
