INDIANA, Pa. — A Western Pennsylvania coroner says a toddler found dead in a bathtub accidentally drowned.

Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker says 13-month-old Ryden Thomas of White Township was found unresponsive Saturday night in a bathtub.

Baker says preliminary autopsy results showed no evidence of trauma or physical abuse to Ryden. He says the boy was in good health at the time of the accident.

The coroner says the boy's mother told authorities that she left Ryden in the bathtub with his 2- and 3-year-old siblings for a few minutes while she tended to another matter. When she returned, Ryden was reportedly face-down in the water.
