Earl H. “Bud” McMillen, 79, of Evans City passed away Monday at VA Butler Healthcare.

Born Jan. 25, 1933, in Evans City, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ethel Dambaugh McMillen.

Bud proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a people person who genuinely enjoyed conversing with others and showcased that passion as a greeter at Walmart. Bud enjoyed playing cards and was an avid Steelers fan. Above all, he was a wonderful family man who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sally (Leonberg) McMillen; his three children, Lorie McMillen of Evans City, Wendy Dudek of Evans City and Michael McMillen of Evans City; his six grandchildren; and his one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven McMillen; his son-in-law, Edward J. Dudek III; his five brothers; and his sister.

Main St., Evans City.
