Grace M. Thomas, 83, of Cabot passed away Thursday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Jan. 31, 1929, in Cabot, she was the daughter of George and Florence Beggs Brewer.

Grace worked in the cafeteria for the South Butler School District.

She enjoyed golfing, cooking and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, David A. Thomas, who she married Aug. 7, 1949; two sons, Randy (Sherrie) Thomas of Cabot and Scott (Valerie) Thomas of Cabot; one daughter, Patricia (Palmer) Leard of Bluffton, S.C.; six grandchildren, Gretchen Troutman, Daniel VanDyke, Leigh Harbison, Abby Percy, Ryan Thomas and Nicole Thomas, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Allan Brewer and Dale Brewer; and two sisters, Hazel Harbison and Dorothy Lang.

THOMAS — Friends of Grace M. Thomas, who passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2012, will be received on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the FOX FUNERAL HOME, Inc., Saxonburg.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Philip Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
