Martha Jean “Marti” Altenbaugh Haller, 77, of St. John’s Home in Mars entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Thursday while surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Mary (Girty) Altenbaugh and George M. Altenbaugh; the beloved mother of Marianne Egan (Eric), Sean Haller, Brian Haller (Serina) and Rebecca Nagy (Steven); and the grandmother of four loving grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her brother, George Altenbaugh, and her husband, John “Jack” Haller.

She was a member of Waverly Presbyterian Church in Park Place, Pittsburgh.

HALLER — Friends of Martha Jean “Marti” Altenbaugh Haller, who passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, 7441 Washington St., Swissvale, Pa. A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
