✓ Agreed to comply with the Butler County Parks Renovation Program requirements to receive grant funds for renovation of Whippo Avenue playground.

✓ Accepted a gas pipeline agreement with Phillips TWP allowing the utility to replace a gas line running through Ritts Park for $2,282.

Treasurer Jeff Smith explained the ordinance includes provisions for such a position, which merely empowers an existing treasurer’s office employee to do certain duties, currently permissible only by the treasurer, in the treasurer’s absence.

✓ Granted permanent employment status to Patrol Officer Nathan Shulik

✓ Directed the city clerk to advertise for bids to buy two or three police cruisers. The amount of the bids will determine how many cars are purchased.
