Matt J. Hughes, 21, of Butler Township died accidentally on Tuesday.

He was the son of Paul A. and Linda (Itri) Hughes.

Matt was a groundskeeper for the past three years at the Butler Country Club. He was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Parish in Butler. He loved cars and firearms. He enjoyed fishing at camp in Somerset.

He is survived by his parents, Paul A. and Linda (Itri) Hughes of Butler Township; his son, Isaiah Michel Hughes of Penn Township; his brother, Andrew Paul Hughes of Butler Township; his grandmother, Geraldine Itri of Hampton Township, Allegheny County; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Eleanor Hughes and Lawrence J. Itri.

HUGHES — Visitation for Matt J. Hughes, who died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
