The registration deadline is Jan. 24 for the FrogWatch USA volunteer training that will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township.

Staff from the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium will teach participants how to monitor frog and toad populations.

Additionally, staff members of Moraine and McConnells Mill state parks and Jennings will conduct a day devoted to the eastern bluebird and other cavity nesters from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 2.
