Ronald Dean Cratty
Ronald Dean Cratty, 74, of Butler passed away Monday at his home.
Born Oct. 30, 1938, in Prospect, he was the son of Garth and Emma (McCandless) Cratty.
Ronald was a graduate of Butler High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a clerk in the bulk mail center for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 2001.
Ronald was a member of the New Life Christian Ministries. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, Pittsburgh sports and spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Surviving are his loving wife, Erma (Stone) Cratty, who he married July 10, 1966; his children, Curtis Cratty of Butler, Steven (Sara) Cratty of Butler, Rhonda (John) Augustine of Jennerstown, Pa., and Matthew (Jessica) Cratty of Kimberton, Pa.; four grandchildren, Cara Augustine, Jamie Augustine, Jennifer Cratty and Rolland Cratty; his brother, Glenn Cratty of Prospect; his sister, Velma Markell of Cabot; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Hogg.
CRATTY — Friends of Ronald Dean Cratty, who passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Chris Marshall officiating.
