Mary Ann Forcht Williams Nulph

Mary Ann Forcht Williams Nulph, 94, of Butler passed away at 7:52 p.m. Saturday at the Sugar Creek Rest Home.

She was born June 20, 1918, in Westmoreland County, to the late John Teskovich Tilson and Mary Tilson.

She operated several rooming houses while living in Pittsburgh. She and her late husband, Arnold, were married in Pittsburgh in 1956. She came to Butler with her husband in 1962.

She belonged to the St. Marks Lutheran Church and The Friendly Bible Class. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 117, an animal lover and a philanthropist.

Mrs. Nulph is survived by two stepsons, Larry Nulph and his wife, Ruth, and Gary Nulph and his wife, Emily Nulph; one stepdaughter, Carol Nulph McEvoy; nine stepgrandchildren; two nieces, Anna Hewitt and her husband, Paul, of San Diego, Calif., and Charlotte Tilson of California; and one nephew, Don Tilson and his wife, Maria, of Miami.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Forcht, who passed away March 18, 1979; her second husband, Dean Williams, who passed away March 17, 1997; her third husband, Wallace B. Nulph, who she married on June 20, 1998, and who passed away on Feb. 27, 2007; one stepson; five brothers; and two sisters.

NULPH — Friends of Mary Ann Forcht Williams Nulph, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, will be received a the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the South Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 105 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
