Kathryn “Kass” Crate, 91, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., formerly of Maria Lane, Zelienople, passed away Saturday at the Darcy Hall Nursing Home in Palm Beach, Fla.

Born July 22, 1921, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late Plummer and Kate (Powell) Banks.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Kaeding; her three grandchildren, Kathy Hummel and her husband, Mike, Jim Kaeding and his wife, Jennifer, and Trish Gourley and her husband, Ryan; and four great-grandchildren, Bryce and Kara Hummel and Preston and James Kaeding.

CRATE — A graveside committal service for Kathryn “Kass” Crate, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, with the Rev. Ralph Fogal officiating.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
