Marybell McGregor

Marybelle S. McGregor, 77, of Chicora passed away unexpectedly Monday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Marybelle was born Nov. 2, 1935, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late Lester Moore and the late Dora Emminger Moore.

Marybelle was a member of the North Butler Presbyterian Church. She retired from Magnetics in East Butler.

Marybelle is survived by three sons, L. James (Marsha) McGregor of Parker, Kenneth Dean (Judy) McGregor of Chicora and Steven Paul McGregor, also of Chicora; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor (Bill) Ekis of Chicora and Evelyn McDeavitt of Slate Lick; and one brother, Lester “Bud” (Mary) Moore of Chicora. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Marybelle was preceded in death by one son, one sister and three brothers.

MCGREGOR — Friends of Marybelle S. McGregor, who passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert E. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
