McCune

William Henry McCune, 84, of West Sunbury passed away Thursday at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

He was born Feb. 6, 1928, in New Castle, the son of the late William T. and Irene (Ort) McCune.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 272. He retired from the Coil Warehouse Department of Armco.

Surviving are his wife, who he married July 1, 1999, Delaine (Monson) McCune; one daughter, Debora (Dale) Sarver of Evans City; one son, Dennis McCune of Prospect; four grandchildren, Jennifer Blank, Melissa DeMeio, Tracy LeFevre and Jesse McCune; and 10 great-grandchildren.

MCCUNE — Friends of William Henry McCune, who died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
