Masciarelli

Shirley A. Masciarelli, 77, of Butler passed away Wednesday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Feb. 22, 1935, in Vestaburg, Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Lena Bruce.

A homemaker, she was a former Cub Scout leader. She also served on the board of elections in East Bethlehem Township and she was a member of the East Bethlehem VFD Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Masciarelli, to whom she was married to for 55 years; two sons, David N. Masciarelli of Bentleyville, Washington County, and James M. Masciarelli and his wife, Chris, of Butler; one daughter, Marcia Masciarelli of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, James Masciarelli of Butler, Jessica Masciarelli of Vestaburg, Pa., and Autumn Masciarelli of Bentleyville; and three great-grandchildren, Jayden and Zoey Masciarelli of Vestaburg, Pa., and Carson Masciarelli, of Bentleyville.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

MASCIARELLI — Friends of Shirley A. Masciarelli, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Amy Worline of the First Church of God of Grove City officiating. Burial will take place in Beallsville Cemetery, Washington County.
