George F. Walsh
George F. Walsh, 70, of Butler passed away at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Sugarcreek Rest Home following a short illness.
George was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Clay Township. He was the son of the late Myrie Walsh and the late Mary J. Frisk Walsh.
George retired as a foreman from PennDOT.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Tomey Walsh, who he married Aug. 15, 1964; two sons, George Walsh and Steve Walsh, both of Butler; one granddaughter, Amber Walsh; one sister, Marie Scott of East Butler; one brother, Myrie Walsh of Arkansas; his mother-in-law, Ruth Burkhart of West Virginia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.
WALSH — Graveside services for George F. Walsh, who died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery with the Rev. James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.Arrangements were handled by the William F. Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury.
