James H. Gray
In loving memory of our husband, dad and papa James H. Gray, November 28, 1929 - December 5, 2006
PERFECT enters your mind when you think of him. He was not the average man at any time during his life. All who knew him immediately felt a connection to a very special person.
His greatest legacy was his family. He worked so diligently throughout his life to provide for his family in the greatest way that he could contribute, but he didn’t let work take him away from his greatest joy.
He always made time for all of us; Lake Erie vacations, Sunday rides while listening to the Buccos, weiner roasts in the woods, or simply sharing stories on the porch.
If you were lucky enough to know him, you heard about his family with pride.
He pushed all of us to be our best person.
He is no longer here on earth but his spirit is in each of our hearts, guiding us to strive for excellence. He would worry at times that his wonderful family, that he nutured for so long and carefully, would fall apart without his gentle guidance.
His warm, appreciative smile shines gratitude on all of us. He knows that we are trying our best to continue his traditions and make him proud.
We are thinking of our husband, dad and papa today and always. He is so sadly missed by his family, but kept alive through his love in each of us.
Jim, Dad, Pops...YOU are forever in our hearts
