Marjorie Ruth Walborn, 91, of Cabot passed away Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Oct. 16, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Seth C. and Junilla (Rhea) Galbraith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Crosswinds Alliance Church. She assisted her husband, the Rev. David E. Walborn, in his church ministry in Africa, Maryland and in Eastern Pennsylvania. She was also a substitute school teacher. Ruth enjoyed reading and writing.

Surviving are her loving husband, the Rev. David E. Walborn, who she married Dec. 22, 1947; her daughter, Mrs. Rev. Dr. Randall (Linda) Corbin of Frederick, Md.; her sons, James D. (Jean) Walborn of Tarboro, N.C., and David P. (Jeanne) Walborn of New Windsor, N.Y.; her sisters, Mrs. Esther (Dean) Kroh of Cabot and Mrs. Dorcas (Robert) Benge of Cabot; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David S. Galbraith and Seth C. Galbraith.

WALBORN — Friends of Marjorie Ruth Walborn, who passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Randall Corbin, her son-in-law, officiating with the Rev. James Kunes, pastor of the Crosswinds Alliance Church, and the Rev. Roger Nuerge, chaplain at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, assisting.Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance, P.O.
