Margaret M. Haefner Heinl, 82, of Wexford, Pine Township, died Thursday morning in the comfort of her home.

Born in Wexford on May 28, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Stella Wilding Haefner.

Margaret was retired from the Pine-Richland School District, where she worked in the cafeteria.

She was a member of the St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Wexford.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph Heinl, who she married on May 19, 1962; three sons, Paul Heinl and his wife, Barbara, of Marshall Township, John Heinl of Wexford and Joe Heinl and his wife, Connie, of Prospect; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a brother, John Haefner of Harmony. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters.

HEINL — Friends of Margaret M. Haefner Heinl, who died Thursday Nov. 1, 2012, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Church, 201 Church Road, Wexford, at 10 a.m. Monday with Father Peter Murphy, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church.
