Arthur Charles Freehling
Arthur Charles Freehling, 89, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at VA Pittsburgh, H.J. Heinz Campus.
Born April 30, 1923, in Cabot, he was the son of August and Nora (Watson) Freehling.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a farmer and dairy inspector. He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver and the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683.
Surviving are two sons, David (Patti) Freehling of Montverde, Fla., and Terry (Michele) Freehling of Glenshaw; one brother, Walter (Val Jean) Freehling of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Leona Barnes of Cabot; four grandchildren, Erin, Adam, Michael and Sarah; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rosemarie Bianucci Freehling, on Dec. 12, 1985.
FREEHLING — Friends of Arthur Charles Freehling, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
