Henry C. Robel Jr.

Henry C. Robel Jr., 85, of Monroeville died Tuesday.

He was born Jan. 14, 1927, in Johnstown and was the son of the late Henry C. Robel Sr. and Anna Marie Deusch Robel.

He was a retired salesman for the H.J. Heinz Co.; an Army veteran of World War II; a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Braddock; and a lifelong member of the German Club of the Northside.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Robel, on May 16, 2011, and a brother, Donald Robel.

Henry is survived by a son, Scott (Jody) Eldridge of Zelienople; three grandchildren, Scott (Wendy), Ryan and Abbie; two nephews, Richard Robel of McKeesport and Joseph Bilik of Atlanta, Ga.; and numerous friends.

ROBEL — Visitation for Henry C. Robel Jr., who died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the HART FUNERAL HOME, Murrysville, where a service will be at 11 a.m. Friday.
