Clifford Earl Waldron Jr.
Clifford Earl Waldron Jr., 85, of Belington, W.Va., formerly of Evans City, died Friday at Davis Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.
Born Aug. 19, 1927, in McKees Rocks, he was the son of Clifford E. Waldron and Henrietta M. Walzer Waldron.
Mr. Waldron was retired from the Lee Moore Corp., where he was chief financial officer. Mr. Waldron was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church of Evans City and attended the Faith Way Baptist Church, Barbour County, W.Va.
Mr. Waldron enjoyed vacationing with his family and he was a wildlife enthusiast. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a past grand master of the Corinthian Masonic Lodge in Pittsburgh and a member of Syria Shrine Temple in Pittsburgh.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Robert P. Chambers and his wife, Judy, of Belington, W.Va.; a daughter, Sherry Zielinski and her husband, Paul, of Harrisburg; and a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Chambers of Warren, Ohio. He also is survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Waldron was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and a son, George Chambers.
WALDRON — The family of Clifford Earl Waldron Jr., who died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, received friends at the David C. McEntire Funeral Home, Knox, on Sunday. Funeral services were Monday with Pastor Downing Gregory of the Faith Way Baptist Church, Belington, W.Va., officiating. Interment was in Clarion Cemetery.The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
