Another year gone by and another year without you in our family, time moves very quickly but the pain never subdues.

We gathered in celebration of Thanksgiving and gave thanks to the many blessings bestowed upon us, yet we wonder how the day would have been different and the time spent together had you been with us.

Much of our conversations now relate to our memories of you and the stories of “remember when --- are plentiful.

We laugh and look to hold back the tears and just wonder.

We ask God for justice and let His hand guide, illuminate and sanctify us.

Those who knew you reflect upon your wisdom, your quick wit and your humor.

We do miss that, and we miss your presence.
