Jeffrey Allen 'Jethro' Fair

Jeffrey Allen “Jethro” Fair, 35, of Butler passed away at 3:17 p.m. Saturday at the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 19, 1977, in Butler to Nina T. (Mauthe) Fair and the late Kenneth L. Fair Sr.

Jeff worked for A. Folino Construction in Oakmont. He was a loving and devoted father, husband, provider and friend. Jeff was very unselfish, putting his family's needs above his own at all times. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and son and also with his friends and family.

Jeff enjoyed going to camp, canoeing, shooting guns and bows, and camping. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan but watched any NFL games that happened to be on. He loved riding his motorcycles and quads, and also playing his guitar and listening to music.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Lesley A. (Kadunce) Fair, with whom he spent seven wonderful years before marrying on March 21, 2012. He also is survived by one son, Geoffrey J.P. Fair; his mother, Nina T. (Mauthe) Fair; one brother, Kenneth L. Fair Jr.; one sister, Melissa S. Ward and her husband, James III; his maternal grandfather, William D. Mauthe; one niece, Kaylee J.Ward; and one nephew, Trenton J. Ward, all of Butler.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Fair Sr.; paternal grandfather, Kenneth R. Fair; paternal grandmother, Eva M. Fair; and maternal grandmother, Hazel V. Mauthe.

FAIR — Friends of Jeffrey Allen “Jethro” Fair, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert C.
