Pete Stivason

In loving memory of my beloved husband Pete Stivason who passed away five years ago today.

Pete,

Five years wow, seems like yesterday when we had all of our hopes and dreams in front of us and the future looked so bright. Time changes a lot of things, but one thing it hasn’t changed is my love for you. It’s as strong today as the day you grabbed my hand and closed those beautiful brown eyes never to open them again.

It’s harder today because back then I waited for you to come home and a few times I even thought I heard your truck. But now, reality has set in and the anticipation has been replaced with loneliness and longing for your touch and just to hear your voice say I love you, one more time.

I’m sure God is taking very good care of you and I know by certain instances that you are watching over me. Thanks for being the angel of my dreams every night. Look after Becky, I’m sure she has earned her wings with you and Dad there to guide her. Pet Kansas for me.
