Grace Overly

Grace Overly, 88, of Hilliards died peacefully at 9:30 p.m. Monday at Grove Manor.

She was born April 10, 1924, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Martin and Minnie (Hoke) Krepps.

She was a graduate of Kecksburg High School. Following graduation she worked for Westinghouse in Meadville. She also had been employed at Bill's Bargain Store and Hills, sold Avon and drove a school bus for the Moniteau School District. She attended the Ridgeville Methodist Church. Grace enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, bowling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda (James) Plunkard of Pulaski; three sons, Garry (Susan) Overly of Hilliards, Daniel (Kim) Overly of Karns City and Ken (Lorraine) Overly of Harrisville; 12 grandchildren, Eric (Brandy) Carothers, Sam (Megan) Plunkard, Melissa (Christopher) Harris, Adam (Amber) Overly, Alison (Donnie) Ernst, Danielle Overly, Jared Overly, Matthew Lominiski, Eli (Tamika) Overly, Olivia Overly, Bobby Overly and Jasmine Overly; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Overly Jr., who she married July 26, 1947, and who passed away May 2, 1986; two sisters; and four brothers.

OVERLY— Friends of Grace Overly, who died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Brent McMasters of the Six Points Church of God officiating.Burial will be in the Old Annandale Cemetery.
